The boring part of the site. I have put together a bit of information here about me and what has held my interests in the past and present including what I want to participate in when the opportunities arise . Any news about what is going on with my photography will also be updated on this page. TFP Studio Photoshoots

I am always available for studio work in my home studio. I do these on a TFP bases and concentrate mainly on fantasy and headdress styles but am open to any ideas you may have. TFP Outdoor Photoshoots

Occasionally I will wander outside to do some shoots in a natural environment and am always on the lookout for models to participate in this type of photography. These are usually done early morning or late afternoon. If you are interested in working together on an outdoor shoot then please contact me via the email link at the bottom of the page.

TFP Underwater Photoshoots

This is something I have not done enough of but would like to. It is something that presents many problems such as visibility and cold water and requires a model that is comfortable and proficient in the water. A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Born in Adelaide, Australia I went to school locally and a subject that grabbed me at an early age was photography. I mostly had “hand me down” SLR cameras with a number of not so good lenses but I persisted and found a fascination with black and white photography along with developing my own film. While quite young I developed an interest in underwater photography so at the age of 15 I built my own housing from Perspex. In it I had a Kodak instamatic camera that was very limited but, it worked. Still got it now!

I moved to the West Coast when I was 16 and within a few years I had bought a Nikonis V system and started my journey in underwater photography. Many years later I moved to digital SLR cameras in aluminium housings and still use them to this day.

Not too long ago I popped my head above the surface and found that photography was not isolated to the depths of the ocean. I have discovered a whole new world that has encroached into my life and my eyes have opened to a completely new aspect in my photography.

A full frame camera and a selection of good “L” lenses have been added to my arsenal and I am really enjoying the path I have headed down. These days I shoot just about anything while trying to find new challenges.

INTERESTS

Portrait photography is something that I have started to do a lot more of in recent years, while looking at ways to take shots with a different view in mind, I also stick to traditional styles and poses. I enjoy natural outdoor shoots, either organised or casual , as well as studio shoots that can take on a variety of themes. Processing is an important part of this and I will use black and white, when the image suits, or colour if that brings out the best in the final image. I hope to expand on this type of photography and look forward to the journey.

MATERNITY SHOOTS

After having the opportunity to photograph my pregnant niece on two occasions I have taken an interest with this type of photography. The options available with different lighting can bring out the beauty of pregnancy that can be held onto for a lifetime.

THEMED SHOOTS

For something a little different a variety of themed shoot can also be looked at for suitable candidates. These require a lot more planning and the skills of a makeup artist but the results can be quite stunning. The options are totally up to the imagination and of course, the level one wants to get involved in.

HEADDRESS PROJECT

A continuing project incorporating fantasy headdresses with the human form. I make the headdresses myself based on a combination of external ideas and add my own touch.
I will sometimes design the head peice yo suit a particular models look and style so, if you have an interest in this type of shoot, please send me an email.

WELCOME

to my photography portfolio. I put this site together to highlight the many different aspects of my photography. These include images photographed in environments from the depths of the ocean to the hillsides of Western Australia or may capture the intimacy of a lost moment. I feel that a photograph can be interpreted in any number of ways by any number of people and this site is my interpretation. Photographers that I have met and those who I would like to meet have inspired many images found in the galleries on this site."
